Comfort food recipe for family of five: (Karls Meats) 30 minutes approx.
One 2kg bag of Hunky Bills Cheddar & Potato filled Pierogies (use desired amount)
2 Rookworst coils
1 Onion
Butter for sauteing
Pre saute onions until caramelized
Pre cook Rookworst (oven or airfryer) until desired readiness
Preparations:
Bring a large pot of water to boil, add pinch of salt prior to adding perogies.
Boil perogies for a few minutes until desired readiness.
Transfer to hot buttered skillet, fry until crispy and golden brown on both sides.
Serving instructions:
Cut Rookworst into slices and serve with caramelized onions.
Serve to suit. Eat with a dollop of mustard!
